National Final - Croke Park 2010

The national final of the student enterprise awards was held at Croke Park on the 27th April. Students from every County aged from 13-18 competed in the awards which was held at GAA headquarters organised by the County & City Enterprise Boards. Students from Presentation College, Carlow won the Senior Category with "Rap it" a key ring device to keep earphones untangled. Pauls Pix from Bailieborough in Cavan took the Internediate category with Play it Safe and CBS High School, Clonmel took the Junior Category Award. Colaiste Na Trocaire, Rathkeale with Trinity received 2nd Prize in the Junior Category.

Limerick County were also represented by Clobe of Gaelcholaiste Ui Chonba, Newcastle West with an innovative clock design and Cherished Cosmetics of Colaiste Mhuire, Askeaton.  Lorna Winnard of Cherished Cosmetics represented her school and the Board excellently on the Late Late Show as part of the National Enterpise Awards Showcase with Sean Gallagher and Gavin Duffy of the Dragons Den.

County Final  2010 -Kemmy Business School

The County Final of Limerick Co. Enterprise Board's Student Enterprise Awards were held at the Kemmy Business School in the University of Limerick on Friday 12th March. The Judges on the day were Thomas Bibby of Ballyhoura Development,  Colm O' Brien of Carambola Kidz and Heather Supple, Limerick County Enterprise Board. The overall winner in each category will go forward to represent their school and County at Croke Park on the 27th April. Best of Luck to all involved!
