The Student Teacher Enterprise Day, organised by Limerick County Enterprise Board, is designed to encourage and develop and entrepreneurial spirit in students. This year's event, will take place on Friday, 25th September, 2009. The awards are designed to give students practical experience in setting up and running their own business; and winners in each of the three categories- Junior, Intermediate and Senior - will be selected at the County Final in March 2010. The winners will then go forward and represent Co. Limerick at the All Ireland in Croke Park on April 27th 2010.
SPEAKERS ON THE DAY
The County Final of Limerick Co. Enterprise Board's Student Enterprise Awards will be held at the Kemmy Business School in the University of Limerick on Friday 12th March. The Judges on the day will be Thomas Bibby of Ballyhoura Development, Colm O' Brien of Carambola Kidz and Heather Supple, Limerick County Enterprise Board. The overall winner in each category will then go forward to represent their school and County at Croke Park on the 27th April. Best of Luck to all involved!
The following teams won prizes at the 2009 County Final. Skills R' Us and Xtra Care Valeting went forward to represent their schools at the national final in Tullamore on 14th May, 2009.
