Management Accounts For Owner Managers

Many small business receive accounts each year prepared by their accountant but dont really know how to read them.

This course consists of 4 group managment workshops and 5 one-to-one mentoring sessions designed to:

• Show clients how to prepare VAT returns
• Show clients how to calculate wages PAYE/PRSI
• Show clients hot to calculate Income Tax on a montly basis
• Establish breakeven figure for your business
• Understand the importance of monitoring sales figures per week and month
• Understand the importance of monitoring sales per product per week and month
• Which product and service are most valuable/or profitable
• Putting an accurate costing system in place-understanding the true cost of employees
• Identify potential business risks and how they can impact on your business
• Identify key figures in a set of accounts
• Calculate key ratios on a set of accounts
• Learn how to read your accounts - understand profit & Loss accounts, your balances sheet, Turnover, analyse financial accounts the same way as your bank does
• Managing your bank effectively and dealing with the day to day cash flow
• Managing your debtors and getting paid on time

You must be the owner manager and have one years set of accounts to work from.

When:  Group workshops  are on the 16th of May, 23rd May, 20th of June and the 27th of June. Mentoring times  will be arranged individually
