How are Financial Grant Awards Decided?

A initial one to one meeting must be made with one of the staff at Limerick County Enterprise Board to determine if your business meets the required criteria (as outlined above). If you business matches the required critieria and you wish to appy for a financial grant, then you must fill out an application form and provide a business plan. This information is then passed on to an evaluation commitee for discussion and then a few weeks later the application is brought before a Board meeting for further discussion.

In evaluating a project it will be a matter for the Board based on the recommendation of the evaluation committee to determine if the project is eligible, if it has the potential to trade internationally or to transfer to Enterprise Ireland.

The grant application decision process has a turn around time of 8 weeks. However the final draw down of funds depends on the efficency of the applicant in completing the required paperwork.
